November Garden Planner

The first rain has fallen, the temperatures are dropping, and with that, here’s what you can do in your garden this month:

  • Plant a cover crop to revitalize the soil

  • Plant more winter vegetables to spread out your harvest window

  • Feed your established winter vegetables to promote growth

  • Plant early blooming Camellias and Azaleas to bring color to your fall garden

  • Force bulbs by placing them in the refrigerator

  • Allow deciduous trees to go dormant before pruning

  • As it starts raining, adjust the timers on your sprinklers to reduce water usage
