November Garden Planner
The first rain has fallen, the temperatures are dropping, and with that, here’s what you can do in your garden this month:
Plant a cover crop to revitalize the soil
Plant more winter vegetables to spread out your harvest window
Feed your established winter vegetables to promote growth
Plant early blooming Camellias and Azaleas to bring color to your fall garden
Force bulbs by placing them in the refrigerator
Allow deciduous trees to go dormant before pruning
As it starts raining, adjust the timers on your sprinklers to reduce water usage
